Alison Araya’s instincts told her she was an actor, long before she knew what being an actor meant.

 

Influential International mentors have shaped her techniques and methods while instilling a deep respect of acting, an appreciation of discipline and a connection with the senses.

She has lived and studied internationally. She received her Acting Diploma from Bologna’s Teatro de Naville and excelled in the Actors Program at the National Academy of Dramatic Arts in Rome. Since, she has crossed boundaries placed by stereotypes and performed on stages and sets worldwide for over 13 years.

 

In the four years Alison has called Vancouver home the Australian-Latino actress has been involved in numerous productions. Some of her professional credits include, TheBridge, Caprica, Smallville, Wolverine Origins and The Watchmen.

 

Alison Araya has spent the last four year committed to the craft of acting and to the cultivation of her teaching skills. She has coached actors for over two years and is currently instructing at The Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts.
