Simon Longmore is a Product of Vancouvers creative film boom. For the past 24 years Simon has dedicated himself to acting and the mediums to which it is broadcast. Involved in acting in his early teens Simon realized that this was his calling. Once out of High School his main focus was to pursue the dream of becoming a professional performance artist, thus attending a two year diploma program at the short lived, FTS (Film and Theatre School).

Like the majority of young actors, a mandatory year or two in the school of hard knocks lead Simon on many interesting lines of unrelated work. As a dishwasher, muffler shop employee, gas station attendant, open pit mine worker, even a brief stint in the Armed Forces!  
Still, his passion for art never waned.

In 1993 Simon joined efforts with other local talent and began teaching acting. For 7 years this company of four men created an acting studio called AWA (Actors Working Academy). During that time Simon got re-oriented with his true nature. He explored all types of performance, musical theatre, film, TV, Commercial, live theatre, radio, voice over, writing, directing, film making and using his ‘innately gifted’ funny bone. He also toured the amateur stand up scene before being drawn full-time into the world of coaching actors.

In 2000 Simon left the AWA and started his own studio, VADA (Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts). For the last 8 years Simon has trained actors from all over the globe. Actors have traveled from the US, Europe, Asia and across Canada to train at Simon's studio. Being one of Vancouver's top acting coaches, Simon also conducts workshop and seminars all over Canada on a monthly basis. He is referred to repeatedly as the ‘go to’ coach by Casting Directors in Canada and the U.S., as well as top agencies across the country. 

Simon’s ability to pull the best performance out of his clients is a repeat occurrence. Using his down to earth approach, Simon can coax the best performance from any artist. His more notable students have been:
