Every 6 months, March and September, VADA hosts an industry recognized SHOWCASE.  VADA's Showcase is a night or prepared scenes and monologues which are performed in front of Film/TV Agents, Casting Directors, Friends and Family.

VADA's Showcase includes 10 scenes and 10 monologues performed in one of Vancouver's hottest live theatre venues.  Tickets are sold in advance to the public, which has sold out in the past 7 Showcases VADA has put on.  Every Showcase the audience fills with our VIP Agents, Casting DIrectors, Producers and Directors before we open the doors to the public.  Vancouver's Top Talent Agencies come to VADA's Showcase to fill their roster with VADA Alumni.  Every year after Showcase VADA Alumni get exclusive positions on the best rosters in Vancouver.  This has set the bar and fostered many of Vancouver/Los Angeles Actors to the beginning of their career, which is why the past 12 years Showcase has become a sought after venue for Actors to Showcase their skills and abilities. How to audition?

Any Actor may audition for VADA's Showcase that has:

• Graduated the DAP Program, or currently enrolled in the DAP Program,

• Any Actor who has successfully graduated any of VADA's Part-time classes, or who is currently enrolled in a Part-time class.

Rehearsals occur two weeks following auditions where VADA's Artistic Director will work on your scene or monologue to make sure that you are showcasing your best work in front of the Agents and Casting Directors that are in attendance.
